Concert Attire Requirements
Dress theme for concerts is Black Tie or Tuxedo Style. This means formal and conservative black—no other colors permitted unless otherwise directed. A student not wearing appropriate attire has the possibility of not being able to perform in a concert setting, which can result in a non-performance grade.
NOTE: Repeated incidences of non-compliance to concert dress requirements will result in mandatory uniforms.
Students may choose from any of the attire options 1 through 3 below:
Black dress, hem below the knee; or black skirt, hem below the knee with a white or black blouse * - Black dress shoes, closed-toe/heel ** - Black dress socks, stockings, or tights (optional) - Black cardigan (optional) * Hem below the knees when seated ** Heels no more than 1-inch; NO dinkles
Black pantsuit or dress jumpsuit - Black dress shoes, closed-toe/heel * - Black dress socks or stockings (optional) * Heels no more than 1-inch; NO dinkles
Black suit, or black tuxedo, or black dinner jacket with coordinating black trousers - White, long-sleeved, dress shirt - Black bow tie - Black dress shoes, closed-toe/heel * - Black dress socks * Heels no more than 1-inch; NO dinkles
