SYMPHONIC BAND

Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12

Symphonic Band is comprised of accomplished musicians who play moderate to difficult music that requires considerable skill. Rehearsals stress preparation of concert music, fundamentals of proper wind and percussion technique, music reading, music history, and music theory. The Symphonic Band presents musical programs for the school and the community, as well as participate in judged festivals. Attendance at all rehearsals and performance is required.
